This pack of 2 replacement carbon filters for the Eddingtons stainless steel compost pail can also be cut down to fit other compost pails. Each replacement filter pack will last approximately 6 months depending on the length of time between being emptied and the volume contained in the pail. The pack contains 1 round and 1 square carbon filter which should be used together to ensure all odours are absorbed effectively to keep your kitchen odour free.

If like me you bought the Eddingtons compost pail replacement filters for the Kitchencraft table-top compost bin you will be sadly disappointed and frustrated as they DON'T FIT!!!! The lid on the Eddingtons Compost Pail is different to the Kitchencraft in that it has an in-built lower circle which holds the significantly smaller charcoal filter supplied by Eddingtons. The Kitchencraft lid is larger, without a secondary 'lip' and therefore the filters fall straight into the pail!!!!! USELESS with Kitchencraft Compost Pail.
This review is more a complaint about Amazon than the product, I'm sure they work fantastically in the Eddington bins however Amazon are recommending people buy these filters alongside the Kitchen Craft Compost Pails but they DO NOT fit these bin lids. So if you're thinking of buying the Kitchen Craft bin (which is great by the way!), do not get suckered into buying these as replacement filters because they do not fit.
