    I bought these prior to a business trip to Japan, knowing that without practice I would never dare to use chopsticks in front of anyone. I wouldn't say I'm particularly competent still, but I didn't starve while I was out there and my hosts appreciated the effort. The chopsticks provided aren't the easiest to use either with or without the buddy compared to proper Japanese chopsticks - a bit too smooth and plastic. But for a complete novice the pack was worth the money and effort to avoid feeling like a complete fool.

    The rubber holder is fine but one of the chopsticks was broken into several pieces on arrival. Not worth returning.

    My boyfriend and I love sushi and eat it regularly. However, my boyfriend has never managed to get the hang of chopsticks. I bought this to help him out. It's a great product- works really well. We chose to not use chopsticks provided and use our own and it works brilliantly.
