First off, I'm a HUGE fan of Miss Magic and Shazzie's wonderful work, so I was incredibly excited to read their first joint venture! I had so many questions about how to achieve the intense state of bliss so colorfully depicted on the cover, and was eager to know all of the "144,000" tips that would take me there.
Unfortunately, the book doesn't contain that much actual information. Before purchasing this item, you should know that it was created as a "left-brain" book and much of the content is poetry, poorly photoshopped illustrations, photos of the authors dressed up in funny/suggestive costumes, and some essays on things you really may not be ready to engage with, such as suspension and urine drinking.
There are some recipes, and they are good and superfood-tastic. Additionally, they do refer to many practices that can facilitate health and enlightenment; such as yoga, affirmations, being present, eating plenty of superfoods and supplements, and drinking huge amounts of juice. However, many of these things are mentioned in lists or short stories, with few concrete recommendations on how to integrate them.
It just seemed like it was put together in a hurry, with poor attention to detail and what felt like lots of filler, weird baby talk (the unenlightened are"penipoopoos" yuck!) and self-congratulation rather than real empowering information.
I respect them for sharing their unique vision, but it kind of didn't work for me personally.
