"ok text on intro to econometrics. explanations could be a bit better seeing as this is supposed to give a first introduction to econometrics. there are better intro to econometrics books available"
Fundamental Methods of Mathematical Economics
"a classic and a good book. not a necessary book to have as many of the topics covered arent very hard"
The Economics of Money, Banking and Finance: a European Text
"an excellent book. easy to understand and gives good explanations. i feel it could offer more advanced teachings however as what is essentially an intro into financial economics"
Investments + Standard and Poor's Educational Version of Market Insight
"excellent textbook for the popular third year course in financial economics. simple to understand and good explanations, while also testing more advanced students with CFA problem sets"
Introduction to Econometrics

"excellent textbk. probably the best book on development economics there is. the book isnt really required for the dev module however its an excellent read."
Public Finance and Public Policy
"very good textbook. good simple explanations supported with appropriate examples and diagrams. only problem that i have with it is the extortionate prices listed for this book (often >£60)"
Intelligent Investor: The Definitive Book on Value Investing - A Book of Practical Counsel
"classic book on value investing. one of the 6 required books for topics in finance module. interesting if very long book."

"fantastic book. a must read for anybody, especially those looking to join the banking industry. very funny and witty yet still providing a clear picture of banking during the 80s"
