Peter Jarvis is Reader in Environmental Science in the School of Applied Sciences, University of Wolverhampton and has served on committees of the UK "Man and the Biosphere Urban Programme", the Royal Society for Nature Conservation and the Urban Wildlife Trust.
This book is aimed at first year students taking Ecology or Biogeography as part of Biology, Environmental Science and Geography degrees. It will also be useful for MSc courses in Environmental Science and Environmental Management, for those without a background in Ecology.
