If you know of Bill Phillips then you'll know of the foods he recommends if you don't then you will after reading this.

What I like about the recipes are that they are not special health foods and nothing that cost's too much to buy. Every ingredient you should be able to buy in your local supermarket or normal market, but there is slight downside in that alot of the ingredients are american, but with a little research you should be able to find the UK alternative.

The book is laid out into sections for breakfast, lunch etc which is good and there is even a treats section, wow healthy treats, fantastic!!

What this book puts across though is that you can still eat colourful, nutritious and healthy foods without sacrificing too much of your favourites, well unless your favourites include micky d's and stella, then there's no hope for you!

A well laid out and informative book, Bill even goes into the why of eating healthy and what it will do for you, remember that thing your local doctor used to say ... "You are what you eat!" ... well thats even more important in todays fast paced world ... get this and you'll never be stuck again for ideas on how to eat healthy

Great read!

I am an avid follower of the Body for Life program. This book was the perfect accessory to the program.

I do not count calories.

I do not weigh my food.

I do not have to eliminate healthy foods like carbohydrates.

I do not have a whole lot of time for preparing meals.

And yet

I eat healthy balanced meals.

I am not hungry.

I am losing fat. Not weight - fat.

If you want to lose 60 pounds in 3 months, then there are plenty of fad diets for you to follow that will screw up your metabolism. This is NOT one of them. This is a LIFESTYLE change. We all keep saying that weight loss NEEDS to be a lifestyle change - and then we run off to find the HARDEST, most UNREALISTIC ways of losing weight, and quickly.

Bill Phillips is an angel of the fitness indistry. No more hunger pangs, dizziness, feeling fed up and wanting to eat someone because I've been denying myself proper nutrition. This book is based on science.

I thank God I found this book!

this book was brought for my partner as he is into healthy eating and bodybuilding and had been going on about it for ages.

but i also found this book helpful.
i have wheat and dairy allergies and found that most of the foods in this book i could eat.
so i now eat healthy as well as my partner.
no longer do we have to have different dinners to eat.

lots of good advice and the recipies.also some of the things my partner thought he could not eat as they were fattening,he found he could eat .
gives you step by step guide on how to cook and prepare the foods.
a daily diet plan you can follow.

well written and very helpful book.
well done bill phillips.
