Time Out do excellent city guides but i'm not sure they are at home where there is grass. 10 minutes browsing gave surprising omissions, in the London suburbs, where (tellingly) there is no map, Chapter One and Tamasha are ignored (both top 50 in other guides). On Skye US visitors flock to "The Three Chimneys" as one of the worlds best restaurants, again missing from Time Out. The Leatherne Bottel is on the cover and I was surprised I could not find it, eventually I did, in the wrong county! I dont think 1200 entries is enough for UK and Ireland. Buy Time Out City centre guides, look elsewhere for the countryside. (No comment on the 14 Ireland pages, i'm not qualified to judge).
