After a lifetime of meeting children and adults who 'don't like spinach ... or courgettes ... or leeks', (the list is almost endless) this book is a serious attempt to change that. Recipes for a variety of vegetables are well thought out and easy to prepare; but most of all they are delicious!
Far too often vegetables are offered 'plain boiled' - no wonder the appetite for them diminishes - try the 'Gratin of Courgettes with potatoes and tomatoes', or the 'Zucchine Scapece' and enjoy vegetables in a whole new way.

Having always read and enjoyed the books of Sophie's mum, Jane Grigson, cover to cover, I was a bit disappointed with this. Not much that leapt out at me, begging to be made tomorrow. Ok, but not that exciting.
