Thank goodness Long Gone John at SFTRI saw fit to reissue the Pebbles first long player (with the addition of two bonus tracks). This is infectious 60's Brit pop at it's best as filtered through 3 Japanese female fans. More soulful than Shonen Knife, more melodic than the's - these chicks know how to rock....

If you enjoy bands like Shonen Knife, you'll probably get a kick out this CD. The Pebbles are an all-girl Japanese trio who play stripped-down straight-ahead mersey beat rock. Maybe the vocals aren't the smoothest, but all-in-all, it's infectious fun that'll have you dancing...
