Amazon Verified Purchase
Delivered quickly, works eventually...but NOT for Vista or Win 7. There are drivers available on the net that kind of work, but you have to hunt them down. Don't buy this if you are running Vista or Win 7

It has taken some experimentation to make this work and I have been indebted to other reviewers for their comments regarding drivers. I found the driver recommendation of Syntek 1150 was useless for Win7, the need being for the Syntek 1160. The installation disc driver being of no use at all. The Ulead programme for editing is still unfathomable to me and I find that the simple Windows Movie Maker 2.6, although basic and a need to be downloaded for use in Win7, is much easier to use. Sound quality using the input jack on my laptop leaves something to be desired but the image quality is good if the original is also of a good standard. This gadget will not make a silk purse out of a VHS 'sow's ear'. Recording from a PVR produces the best results and taking the AV feed from the phono socket (yellow) rather than the scart cured the problem of a monochrome image. There was no colour problem recording from a VCR when the scart did all the work.
The low price was my encouragement to buy it but any saving was spent on my time initially making it work for me.

I know this product was cheap but I did not expect the final outcome of me purchasing it to be so bad.
The device itself feels cheap and in any software program, the sound quality is unbearable.
The disc that I recieved in the packaging was so thin that it seemed to be warped and was incapable of running in a disc drive, I removed it from my disc drive due to fear of it disintegrating in there.
Overall, I was appalled at the product I recieved.

Very good.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Works perfectly with my xbox 360 allowing me to capture video and audio. Bargain for the price.

Fake item.
Item is a fake of the original company that I think is now bust, only records most media in black and white, software did not work, and footage is choppy with poor quality. Read more

Rubbish. Will not load drivers on Win 7. Tried all downloads, Forums, Youtube etc
