A really good book if you're trying to gets to grips with Spanish grammar as a beginner or if you find languages difficult (like me!). Not too intense and explains things simply, without too much jargon! Not a heavy read like some grammar books, because there are lots of pictures! After each section you can follow a story line and use the grammar you have learnt in the previous section. Also has Internet links to online quizzes to practise what you have learnt

I started spanish a couple of weeks ago since I love to travel but dont speak any language apart from English. I have bought several books and am also at classes.
I find this book particularly useful since it has brief chapters of language structure then a chapter of a story to translate so you can see how you are progressing and it keeps learning fresh.

Fastastic book, I love it. I've tried several types of studying spanish, like computer courses, books, cd etc. There are only too favorite for me, one is this book. It's really for begginers, presented like comics. And even I'm not too young I feel this is the best way to start with new language. Of course book bought from amazon and arrived in ideal condition.
