I've had a slow cooker for years and never really used it that often. This book has loads of ideas in it! I haven't been able to put it away. I never realised that jams and pates and terrines could be made in it too! Such inspiration from this book! Even the usual slow cooker stews and curries are interesting in this book!

I have a lot of slow cooker books and this is my favourite by far as there are lots of easy and accessible recipes in here and I think I'll be tempted to cook a few other things that I'd normally steer clear of. All meals cooked from recipes in this book have gone down a storm and there'll be about 10-15 firm favourites in here as opposed to 1-2 from other books. Also gives some overall guidance about slow cooking and colour photo of the end result for each recipe. Highly recommended.

I first came across this book at the library but it is so useful I bought one. If you're stuck in a rut with your slow cooker, and don't have much time, this is a really great book to have. I look forward to trying many more of the recipes

I was disappointed with this book; having read all the good reviews I eagerly awaited it's arrival, only to find that all the recipes required a huge amount of preparation. Having just returned to work after having a baby, I was hoping to maximise my time with my slow cooker by throwing in the ingredients in the morning, and coming home to a yummy cooked dinner. However I am finding due to the complexity of the prep work means that I don't have time even the night before. As such, I would not recommend this book if you are after an easy cooking life.

Have not had my slow cooker long but needed a dedicated slow cooker recipe book. This one fits the bill. Have only made two recipes to date but both were truly scrummy and got the epic factor from my family. Am looking forward to trying more recipes.
