I bought this book not knowing what I was going to use it for and I'm so glad I did. The cakes cover all age ranges (I plan to make the owl one for my fiance on his graduation from university) and it has cakes for typical boys, feminine girls and for those children who fall into neither catagory. The instuctions on how to bake the initial cake are clear with easy to follow mixture amounts. The decoration intructions are just as clear. There are pages giving advice on esential tools and how to use them as well as a list of distributors at the back.
A bright, clear book that deserves a place in every kitchen.

This book is ideal for anyone looking to start decorating cakes, i had never tried cake decorating until i opened this book. It has the most adorable cakes which all children will love and appreciate. I am hooked on cake decorating now and i only wish i could have found this book earlier. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wishes to begin decorating. If i can do it anyone can!. Thank you Debbie Brown! I never have a day when i am bored anymore.

Thios book is fantastic. Everything is easy to understand, and is kept simple. The photographs are brilliant, as are the step by step guides. I have used this book, and the end result looks as good as it does in thre book.
There are stencils in the back to help with the decorating, and everythiong is clearly indexed.
I would highly recommend this book. Definitely a must have for any house kitchen.
