2.0 out of 5 stars Looks good but not a very good book! 13 Jan 2010
This was the first book I came across when I started to think about juicing. Looks great, great photos, the recipes look great at first sight but when you look closer into them my thought is that I shouldn't have bought it. This is a book for those only interested in a tasty drink, not for those interested in a healthy drink. Many of the drinks include honey, bought juices, alchool and milk products. I am not a health fanatic but I wanted to start juicing to improve a few health problems I have and to become healthier in general. Also I think that the word "smoothie" creates a lot of confusion because in some books it means a thicker drink, in others a drink with milk products and as I don't drink milk products I am always afraid to buy a book online where I can't check that detail. Maybe specifying this in the description of the book would be a good thing..... Anyway, for those wanting tasty drinks for a party rather than to improve your health this is a great book!
