Book Description

An Easy Guide to Learning Anatomy and Physiology can really help to ease the struggle of learning anatomy and physiology. This book breaks down complex concepts by presenting a simplified version of the main idea (called the Big Picture) before getting into the details. Written in an easy to understand and humorous way, An Easy Learning Guide to Anatomy and Physiology covers many of the topics presented in a typical 2 semester sequence of anatomy and physiology courses. Over 200 colorful images help readers along. Review questions are included at the end of each chapter to test what you've learned. In fact, the author (a full-time college anatomy and physiology instructor) uses this book in his own classes. Perfect for allied health, nursing, pre-med, pre-physical therapy, biology, massage therapy, high school students and anyone interested in the human body.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent learning tool. 10 Jan. 2014

This book really takes what is important to Anatomy & Physiology students and breaks it down in a way that simplifies the learning process. As a former student of the author, I was amazed at how well I learned this subject matter with this material - especially the difficult physiology aspect. I have the kindle version of this book on my phone and have already used it many times in my Advanced EMT transition class that I am currently taking. It is a great reference to have at my fingertips and I highly recommend this book.

This is an easy to read guide to the big picture of anatomy. It allows you to grasp how all things work together so the little details have context. There is just enough humor to keep the reading enjoyable.
I expect to be returning to this often.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have 18 Dec. 2013

Bruce Forciea is an excellent instructor. I actually had him for anatomy and advanced anatomy and physiology. This book is a lot of what we learned in the class and it can be used as a quick reference. Great for nursing students and new nurses for quick reference.

5.0 out of 5 stars outstanding book 23 Dec. 2013
By A. Husic - Published on Amazon.com

I am/was an actual student at the school where Bruce works and he taught us Anatomy and Physiology. We used this book as notes for our class with a traditional textbook on Anatomy and Physiology. Bruce's book is a lot easier to read and understand. It has so many analogies to normal life that it makes understanding otherwise difficult concepts very easy and easier. For example, I had difficulties understanding what osmosis was even though I learned about it before. Once I read it in this book, it just fell into place someplace in my brain. Excellent book.
