As the title says, there are 50 pieces of music in this collection.
The pieces are graded, becoming gradually more challenging towards the end of the book, so that players of all abilities will find this book very rewarding.
Even the simplest pieces sound quite impressive, especially when played by the author, and there are none of the usual cheesy "Twinkle twinkle little star" type tunes here. They are all quality pieces that any classical guitarist would be happy to play.
The real bonus is the CD that comes with the book. Not only does it let you know how the pieces should sound, but it is a wonderful audio CD in its own right. The quality is first class, and it is a real pleasure to listen to at any time, whether you are using it for practice purposes or just for chilling out to.
This book should be in everybody's collection.
