On the plus side, the book is clearly written and well organised. It also contains some helpful basic hints, particularly for the newly initiated like myself.
On the minus side, in my opinion the book focuses too much on dough recipes that then need a considerable extra personal time and effort (and I suspect skills that I may or may not have, which is precisely why I bought the machine in the first place). It feels like the writer is of the opinion that bread machines are basically (and merely) dough machines, which is a little bit disappointing.
I would have appreciated more recipes and hints on bread which is mixed, raised and baked to completion by the machine.

What a great book. A must for anyone who has just got a breadmachine and doesn't know what they are doing. Great explination on all the different flours available and handy tips for perfect bread. Lots of recipes to suit everyones taste. So glad I got this.

Having bought a new bread machine I decided it was time to get some
advice from one of the many books out there.
The Bread Machine Bible has become just that to me! It has explained in easy terms all the information I needed. Good advice on what not to do also. I made 60 large bread rolls of different varieties for a BBQ in my village and they went down a storm. Very happy to say it was a very good buy!
