1.0 out of 5 stars Worst Purchase 12 April 2009
By Mackerel Bob - Published on Amazon.com
I have quite a few instructional books for blues guitar. This book "easy blues Songbook" by Ed Lozano is by far my worst purchase. Mr. Lozano's voice on the accompanying CD is absolutely horrible. Sooooooo phoney! However, the tracks featuring Veronica Stolze are another story.

The CD track listing is located at the front of the book before the table of contents. The pages containing the music, however, do not list the track number. So, you have to flip back and forth to find out what where you're at.

If you're a beginning guitarist, don't be fooled by "easy blues". It's not. Save your money and buy something else. Any thing else. A good place to start is with "Blues You Can Use" by John Ganapes.
4.0 out of 5 stars ...and guitar #2 will be played by..... 10 Aug 2007

This is not designed for a solo guitarist. It will be most useful to help a band get a number down. As usual, there is alot of sonic support included on the demo cd. It would be nice, if each piece had one track with just the guitar part included.
You could do a lot worse than this book. It will likely be a valuable addition to someone beyond the beginner level who is exploring the blues.
