This is a clear explanation of the Easter story, perfect for pre-schoolers and children learning to read. The book sticks to the story of Jesus' death and resurrection as told in the Bible and yet doesn't over-emphasise the gruesomeness of the cross. There are just three lines of print per page so children who are learning to read can manage to read the story. The pictures are clear, colourful and attractive to small children. Fantastic book, as always by Usborne.

Easter story 8 April 2010
Format:Paperback
Canb only say that my grand daughter having heard the book read once has asked to hear it several times again since it arrived. "I want to hear about the bread the wine and the blood!" She has picked up herself that the story of the Lasat Suypper is related to what her grandfather does when celebrating Holy Cojmunion. It is a book that tells the story straight but in a way accessioble to little ones.
