We received the rest and play swing as a gift for the birth of our daughter. We really loved it up until yesterday . The swing just stopped working. We have only used it a few times as our daughter is only 6 weeks old. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product. Our daughter only weighs 9 pounds at 6 weeks so I know it is not her weight. The motor just makes a funny noise now when you turn it on . I tried to replace the batteries and that didn't help either. Pretty poor quality. Don t waste your money

I looked at many swings before purchasing this one. It was a great buy. It had all the features I wanted at a good price. Easy to assemble. It has a 5 point harness which has shoulder strap pads and a crotch pad too, and is very easy to do up and undo. The seat is nice and deep, well padded and is a comfortable shape even for our 6 wk old. Also the seat can recline in 2 positions. The toy mobile is pretty naff tho we put our own toys on it and some may say it gets in the way when putting baby in/out of swing, but with one click it easily detaches. The swing speeds are good and we never needed to use it up to the maximum speed. The tunes can get annoying but it has a great remote control so you can alter the speed of the swing and the volume of the tune, or mute it, from your sofa without disturbing baby. Our baby loved this swing and I would recommend it to my friends.

This was the third type of swing we've purchased, and by far the worst performing. It works fantastic for about 15 minutes, and by that time has completely drained the batteries. It should have been designed for "D" batteries, not "C". Only purchase this item if you happen to work for energizer or duracell.
