Call me stingy but I just don't see the point of spending a fortune on a cot for a baby. If you are looking to buy a new cot but don't want to break the bank, then I would highly recommend this. It was easy to put together and looks attractive. It has all the features you need. It was easy to find a compatible mattress and fitted sheets as it is a standard size. We are very pleased with it.

A nice looking cot however when putting it together even the slightest touch of screws on paintwork permanently mark it (could not get the drop side in without this happening as the plastic washer doesn't stay in place). This is the only reason why I've marked it down as it otherwise looks much better than the cots selling for 3 times the price in Mamas & Papas.
8 months pregnant and put it together myself (would be much easier with two, but hubby away and I wanted to finish the nursery!) so suggest people ignore Michael J. Bromley's archaic comment about it being 'easy to assemble for a man but a little more difficult for a lady' as I managed just fine!

Really impressed with this lovely cot. Firstly the delivery was rapid! Ordered it at 3pm Wednesday and it arrived at 8:45am the next day. Opened the box and was a bit surprised that there were no instructions, but it was pretty straight forward. We put the base on upside down as only when it was assembled did we notice the massive sticker that said 'this way up!'. Also the adjustable bar was a bit tricky to fit if all the screws are tightened, we've marked the cot a bit trying to work out the best way to fit this bar so bare it in mind when making it up. This is the reason for 4 stars. Other than that, it would have been a 5 star! - it is absolutely beautiful. Extremely sturdy and looks very expensive. We'd seen a few as been shopping around, Mamas and Papas etc and they were really expensive and the white looked plastic like. This cot doesn't have a plastic feel, it's lovely and well worth the money. Also, it's a lovely size, the cot beds are very large for a small room. This hasn't got a small feel to it but it is quite compact. Everyone who's visited has commented on how lovely it is and can't believe it when we tell them the price. Buy it!!!

This is definitely a two person job to put together, as the dropside is a bit of a fiddle and when you need to lower the mattress it is easier with two for the same reason. Read more

Great looking cot, but..
Arrived with a few nicks and marks to the frame that could probably be cleared up with a lick of paint but you get what you pay for and this cot was a bargain! Read more
