Very well done documentary. Professor Iain Stewart is not only a character in the background, as it sometimes is. I would even dare to compare his performance with David Attenborough's. Just another point of view... a geologist instead of a biologist, but just as in real life, they complete each other!

When I bought it, I was questioning is it really my interest but I decided to risk. I'm glad that this risk was worth and even though the subject of the doc is not my major interest, it was narrated so well and put together so interestingly that I couldn't stop watching it. What is good, it explains the Earth processes simple and logical that it could be a part of geography classes, providing illustrative materials to remember it better. It is also astonishing which places the narrator Dr. I. Stewart visits from the most claustrophobic wholes in the Earth to living fire storm and up to high skies.

As a geography teacher these types of programs are so helpful when doing volcanoes and earthquakes, lots of excellent bits, and good to use to support project work. Very informative.
