Walk Among Us ranks amongst one of the most infamous punk albums of all time, and despite its lack of recognition Earth A.D is a natural progression.
All the typical pop hooks and catchy vocals are present, along with an even more thrashy sound and gorier lyrics. If Danzig was quoted as 'the evil Elvis' then its songs like Bloodfeast, Green Hell and We Bite that clarify it.
Ultimately Earth A.D doesn't quite reach the heights of Walk Among Us, but any one who calls themselves a Misfits fan must buy this. Come on, with Die, Die My Darling, Death Comes Ripping, Queen Wasp and a new version of the classic Mommy, Can I go Out and Kill Tonight?, it's bloody great.

The Misfits 1983 release & third album Earth a.d was a completley new concept compared to their 2 previous albums 'Walk among Us' and 'Static age'. As the band had moved into a faster era of playing (known as hardcore), they decided to change their
own sound to suit this style of playing (so they
wouldnt sound dated). Some of the tracks on the
album were amazingly fast, such as 'Demonomania', 'Devilock', 'Mommy can I go out and Kill Tonight' and the well known 'Death comes Ripping'.

This album is loads heavier than any other misfits album, but equally as ace! suck classics as Die Die Die my darling and death comes ripping, fast paced, catchy and heavy cant be passed up as candidates for some of the best misfits songs ever. Although Last caress still holds that title in my mind. If your a fan of misfits and of hardcore punk then this is ideal for you!!!!!!!
