My son is growing up with three native languages English, Romanian and Dutch. We bought these cards for him to teach him words in different languages and to give them their due they are really quite extensive the down side is that they are quite flimsy so if he grabs at them they easily tear or rip and they are not robust enough for him to play with on his own. I would recommend them for older children if you really want a big selection of cards 324 is a lot! If you want something more deeply educational or a bit more robust I would recommend looking into usborne phonetic flash cards I bought them at the same time as these and they seem to be lasting much longer.

This box contains a good selection of flash cards for a child starting out to learn the basics. I don't agree with the 4+ age that is on the box, 2+ would be more like it.

Bought these to help children recognise words and learn English. They are very bright and colourful and lots of fun. Highly recommended.

I bought these cards to teach him new words and he loves them! My only criticism is its hard to tell the different sets apart and he keeps mixing them up which is a bit of a hassle, but I do like the product.

have started home-schooling and would definitely recommend these.the age says 4+ but i'd say the numbers, alphabet and first words are also good for my 2 year old.the phonics section and sight words are just right for my 5 year old.

I gave it a 5 because it is just what you need to learn your little ones its in a box to put them up when not in use.

These learning flash cards are of very good quality and size. The pictures and lettering are very good and overall, this provides a great learning tool for quite a wide age group (for two year olds and older, while some of the cards will also be good for the younger child).

So, great! However, with such a large number of cards, the six types of card grouping and the really tight way they fit in the box, there is so much potential for parents having to clear a big mess away and laboriously having to sort the cards back into their proper groups. For the well organised parent this would be no problem, but for many others, things would be more daunting with over 300 cards to deal with.
