The Watersons brought a natural and enthusiastic approach to songs they heard found or researched. Waterson Carthy continue to create excellent music but this album is an excellent example of that early enthusiasm to keep alive English folk song. Wonderful natural harmonies, wonderful singers wonderful songs.
