Over the years I've suffered several times from deafness arising from excessive earwax. I've tried all the remedies but always come back to Original Earex. For me it works better than any other remedy. Put a few drops in your ear twice a day as the instructions say, and usually after 2 or 3 days the blockage has softened and you can start to hear again. Even when hearing returns I continue to use the drops for another day to make sure the excessive wax is softened and disappears. For me the wax never visibly comes out of my ear but it must go somewhere!
One other thing that works for me is burping! After you've used Earex for a couple of days, drink a can of fizzy pop like Coke or lemonade as quickly as you can, then keep your mouth closed when you burp (just like your mum told you) and the momentary pressure seems to shift the softened wax and often helps you to hear again. (I'm not a doctor but this works for me).

My hubby has a problem with ear wax hardening in his ears, which reduces his ability to hear. He didn't want to go to the doctors to have them syringed again, so we tried Earex. We followed the instructions exactly. By the final day the wax had loosened a little and he was able to hear a little bit better. A few days after that his hearing was more or less back to normal - but we don't know where the ear wax went to! He doesn't recall it falling out or anything! All I can say is that his ears were blocked for about 2 months before using this product, and they weren't blocked after using it, so the product worked for him. :-)
