but not fantastic! I used to use a superdrugs own eyelash curler, which looks and feels almost identical to the Shu uemura one, but i was struggling to get the usual refill pads for it. In the search for pads online i noticed people raving about designer curlers and thought i'd get myself some.

My OLD curler pads were thin and white and would get a massive groove in them after a while, making a 'right angled' crimp that i worried was bad for my lashes. Maybe i squeeze too hard??? The pads on Shu uemura are plump and black and rubbery and dont look like they will 'groove' easily. However - I'm not getting quite the curl i used to with my old ones. (Even squeezing really hard!) I'm wondering if the old damaged pads - while being bad for my lashes - were perfect for a dramatic curl!! Typical...anyway, i'll continue on with the Shu's as i'm nurturing my lashes with 'Talika' and theyre looking great, so i dont want to risk damaging them with my old ones.

That's all i can tell you folks ....
