I agree with the other reviewer here. iv had one of these card since 08 and I'm still impressed with how fast it runs. as already stated evga are about as good as they get iv got an xfx version of the same card witch runs slower and hotter. that's a testament to the build quality of these cards so i don't recommend getting as cheaper version 8800 gtx . i run this on a evga 680i sli mother board with an intel duo e6850 3.0ghz and 2 gig of patriot low latency ddr2.
here are some benchmark scores

3dmark 06 = 10500 average (i scored 11000 once)
Crysis dx10 high setting's 1360 x 768 no aa 20 min -45 max fps
Crysis dx9 high setting's 1360 x 768 4x aa 35 min - 55 max fps
CoD modern warfare 2 1920 x 1080 no aa all setting on high 35 min - 55 max fps
alien vs predator (dx9) 1360 x 768 all setting on high 4 x aa 50 min - 60 max fps
half-life 2 all setting's high 1920 x 1080 8x msaa 60fps (pure all the way)

please note that this card run's hot VERY VERY HOT iv recorded 85c at time's
yes you read it right 85 degrees centigrade and it could have got hotter.

if you buy this card for an upgrade please be aware that you may need to upgrade your cpu cooling solution also as the ambient temp inside your case will go up.
the card is shielded and has its own vent but this isn't going to stop all that heat.

to summarise this dx10 card has all the power to play the best of cutting edge games in near perfect quality. for less than 100 quid i challenge you to do better.

p.s i monitor my review's so if you would like to ask any question's please leave comments and i will respond : )

I got this card with my new PC, and it runs like a dream! I was browsing amazon because I was planning on adding a second one of these, but I was astonished by the price; a few hundred quid just for a card? If I had the money then I would have gone for another, because this card will run anything you throw at it. It has 768Mb of onboard memory, which I find quite impressive. EVGA are a really good brand also, so I would highly recommend this card!

Verified Purchase
I purchased this item to replace a graphics card that had malfunctioned within my son's computer. The card I paid for and received was not the item as advertised but was one of a lower specification and whilst it does function well it does not perform to the standard that I expected from the item I should have received. Very disappointed and despite an initial response from the seller to correct the matter they soon disappeared into the ether when the decision for any recompense was put into their hands.
