Product Description

Fast just got faster with the next-generation EVGA GeForce GTX 770, a high-performance graphics card designed from the ground up to deliver high-speed, super-smooth gaming.

EVGA is also introducing a brand new cooling design; the redefining EVGA ACX Cooler. With a 40% increase in heatsink volume, the EVGA ACX is more efficient at dissipating heat, allowing for 15% lower GPU temperatures. A reinforcement baseplate maintains a straight PCB, and helps lower mosfet temperatures by 7% and memory by 15%.

Even the fan blades are of the highest quality; with a 700% increase in strength, and 25% lower weight when compared to competitors. This makes the fans 20% more efficient by requiring lower power levels. EVGA is also using double ball bearing fans which offer a 12 year lifespan, 4X longer when compared to competitors!

Industry leading NVIDIA SLI technology offers amazing performance scaling by implementing AFR (Alternate-Frame-Rendering) for the world's premier gaming solution under Windows 7 with solid, state-of-the-art-drivers.

Support for NVIDIA 3D Vision, bringing a fully immersive stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. In addition, you can stream 3D movies and 3D digital photographics cfrom 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

Designed for the new PCI Express 3.0 bus architecture offering the highest data transfer speeds for the most bandwidth-hungry games and 3D applications, while maintaining backwards compatibility with existing PCI Express motherboards for the broadest support.

5.0 out of 5 stars EVGA GTX 770 Superclocked 28 July 2013
Verified Purchase
I have been running two AMD HD 7870's in crossfirex for the last 6 months, and was getting a bit sick of random crashes and glitchy behaviour, so wanted to get a single high end GPU. After reading a lot of reviews, with some trepidation, i plumped for this card from Nvidias top partner. It is a wee bit more expensive than other factory overclocked cards, but the cooler on this thing is pretty amazing. I won't go into benchmark scores that i have achieved with this card, as they are quite subjective due to other hardware on your PC, but it is safe to say that it scores really well. Battlefield 3 is a complete joy to play now, no random tics or tearing and Vsynced rock steady at 60fps. In fact, all my current generation games run beautifully with this card at ultra type settings (Not tried Crysis 3 yet, but don't expect any issues).
As for noise levels, the card is quiet, and doesn't seem to spool up in an aggressive way as some fans do. The Active Cooling Xtreme seems to keep it all running cool too, i never got it above 75c while stress testing the card at 1188 MHz, which seems to be what the real boost level is on mine. The included tweaking/monitoring software is quite nice, though i have not played about with the settings as yet.
I know some people may prefer the reference cooler, which is the same as the one on the Titan, but the black and copper of this card look super nice in my opinion.
Oh, and if you buy before the 31st of July 2013, you can pop onto the EVGA website, register the product and get a free EVGA backplate. Sent worldwide.

So to sum up, very fast card, nice and quiet with a good cooling solution. I love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best choice I've made in a long time. 12 April 2014
Verified Purchase
For me being someone who has been using a GTX 550 Ti graphics card for the last three years, this upgrade was the biggest I've ever made and it really showed.
Before being unable to play games like Shadow Warrior at Ultra settings, not even able to keep a steadyish 30fps.
Now I can play Shadow Warrior at Ultra settings and be also able to turn on vsync with triple buffering, never dipping below 60fps.

The card is really good for the price, its not too loud bar some coil whine. Overall the card runs fantastic and is probably the best choice out on the market at the moment.
You don't need a GTX 780 Ti or an R9 290x, this card will provide you all the power you need for 1080p 60fps gaming.

I purchased mine from scan.co.uk for 269.99, it came with a free backplate and 3 newly released games worth 110 (as of nov 2013). So if my maths is right... that's a 350 GPU (prior to the release of AMD r200 series cards)for 260 including 110 worth of latest games and a free backplate worth 15. Now that's a bargain! The card is fast, this means any games completely maxed settings on a 1080p monitor and not a sweat broken. The custom cooling does an exceptional job, it stays cool and quiet as intended. With the free games, free backplate, custom cooling, EVGA's customer care and service this is a no brainer for anyone looking to upgrade.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressive! 14 Oct 2013
By Iain
Upgraded from a 660Ti which was a pretty decent card. Got a decent price for it at CEX so saved some off the purchase price.

Big improvement in a variety of areas, cooling in particular as the ACX system appears to do exactly as it claims. Overclocked to a small degree out of the box, easily pushed further even for a first-timer like me with the enclosed Precision X. Good to watch it leap a few points as you go on Firestrike on 3D Mark or the freebie Ungine stuff like Heaven.

Finally, pretty quiet as I changed the fan curve and am nowhere near 100% even under load. All good and highly recommended over the 680, the card it is effectively replacing.
