I bought this game 25 years ago and it is still one of the more popular games we play on holiday. The full rules can be a bit tricky, but there are simpler rules you can you use to get used to it.

A fun game, very tongue in cheek. You are playing at dealing drugs to build up a stash, while stealing from your friends and putting the heat on them to prevent them from winning. This may not be your cup of tea, but bear in mind you will probably be playing it while partaking of the most damaging drug of all. In fact the bar is a great place to play, and you will usually get some spectators.

I'd buy this game like a shot if my 25 year old pack wasn't still perfectly usable.

Only discovered this game recently - having learnt it has been around for at least 20 years or so.

Takes a few games to pick up how it works but after that its easy and lots of fun.

Acumulate money and put the heat on your fellow drug dealers as you battle to take away the most money from the stack.

Winner is the player with the most money over x amount of rounds.

I too have played this for 20 years or more. It's a unique game so you have to learn it from scratch; it's comparable to no other game I know. There is a simplified version for new players, but the game is essentially simple, so you can usually buzz up to the full version after one game at the simple level. A game lasts at least two hours (unless you're partaking yourself, in which case who cares?) so you can get a couple of games in in an evening. Like all good games it combines luck and skill at just the right level so everyone gets a look in.

The context may be problematic for some. I'm afraid I don't know any of them so cannot offer them any advice. Anyone who has grown up in the last 40 years has had experience of marijuana, even if only through a third party or watching movies. This game anyway is extremely abstract and has more to do with Hollywood than nipping down the council estate for a henry.

Above all this is a great game. it deserves to sit with the pantheon that would include Monopoly, Risk, Whist even. It can be the context for an enjoyable evening. What more can you want from a game?

We bought this game for son and family in the USA. However, we were curious enough to buy another for ourselves and have been playing it regularly since. The rules look very complicated at first glance but once you've played a couple of hands it's straight-forward enough, even after a glass or two of wine ! The only criticism is that the rules are in small print and are difficult to refer to during a game. I typed out a summary and give all players their own copy when they first play it. That solved the problem. I would add that, although playable with 2 players, this is best with 4-6 players. An excellent game providing a amusing and entertaining evening with friends.

I've played this game before as a friend of mine had it. Never played it properly with them as a new player you are inundated with the rules which mean the first game is quite difficult to take in what just happened. I would stick with it however. After just a few games with my partner we've become good at it and it's very playable. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes a lively game. Teach it to your friends also so when they come over you can play them. It's a lot trickier with more players.

Bought this as a joke originally. Then got into playing it on holiday. It has now become a constant companion when going on holiday. Playing grass on the beach with an ice cold drink is great. My girlfriend is addicted to the game now too. My brother is keen to play and it is a very sociable, fun and very frustrating game to play. Many levels to it and can be as easy or complicated as you want. We love it. I recommend you give it a try.

We were introduced to this game by some friends and had a great evening of fun - definitely card game chess - you really need to be aware of what your "so-called" friends are planning. A little complicated for younger family members, but for teenagers and above, this is a really good way to get the family together - just make sure the participants are "good losers" - it is amazing how competitive people become.

This card game is a little more complex than say Monopoly Deal however is learned easily when the instructions are followed which suggests removing most of the 'action' cards for the initial round and then adding more and more of those cards back into the deck with each change of hand. Delivered quickly and of good quality materials.
