5.0 out of 5 stars Propstand 8 Nov 2011
By tone1428 VINE VOICE

Great bit of kit,I have been meaning to get one of these for a long while now as I use my bike for a spot of birdwatching/photography and the problem was finding a spot to stand my bike up! Now that problem is solved just use this solid propstand and both hands are free for camera or binoculars.
The fitting was soooo easy as my brand new bike had been manufactured with a recess and a pre drilled hole too so it was simples! Works a treat easy to adjust and hopefully will last ages. One of the other reviewers stated that they had lost the adjustable end due to the screw coming loose, no problem tighten the screw to maximum amount and pop a drop of superglue on it...remembering to check the screw occasionally in case it does work loose! Really well worth the tiny amount of cash I paid for it...plus free delivery! You know it makes sense treat yerself.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great after with a dab of Araldite glue 4 Sep 2010
After easy fixing of stand to bike....to avoid the bottom section falling off while riding (as mine did, I managed to get a replacement off an old rusty bike in a bike shop) first remove it completely, screw in screw tightly... then remove screw and replace bottom section of stand with a dab or three of Araldite glue to the shaft and screw... finally screw in real tight and once dry..... forget about it. Mines great now, love it, strong, firm. It doesn't rattle while tucked up as spring mechanism is tight enough. To conclude: Great after a little attention. 3.0 out of 5 stars Too big for Islabikes Beinn 20" Small frame 13 May 2012
By William
This is simply too big for my son's Islabikes Beinn 20". Now looking for a really short one. So, stating that it fits 16"+ is misleading. I will however be fittng it to my own adult MTB as it is pretty lightweight.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great stand 29 April 2012
Verified Purchase
Fed up with having to lay bike on the floor when getting off, I thought put a stand on it!! and this stand offers great value for money and seems quite robust. Fully adjustable and very easy to fit, so I bought one for my wifes bike as well, smiles all round. The flick up action seems quite firm and stiff so should not rattle around in transit.

It is too big! Completely useless for my daughter's BMX which has 18" wheels!!!! The stand itself looks OK but it is no good to me.

3.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for.
As the price suggests, it's overall very soft: the top plate that connects it to the frame is soft and bends under the force of the bolt. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job
Bought to save my daughter's bike getting dumped
on the ground. Easy to fit and seems to be doing
it's job. Seems a bit flimsy, but hasn't failed yet.

These just dont work well at all, return spring is very poor & when extended doesn't have the right angle to hold bike stable There is nothing to recommend this product at all.
