I use this for tuning my violin. It is very easy to use, accurate and excellent value. I set it to violin and it knows what pitch each string should be. A needle moves across a scale to show if you're above or below required note. When you're off pitch, scale goes red + when you've got it right, it goes green. Couldn't be easier. Accuracy has been checked against a couple of keyboards and violin teacher and its spot on. Can be used for other instruments. I also sing and have used it to check range and pitch of voice (prepare for a few surprises!). Highly reccommended.

This little device is fantastic, and a great price. When I bought it, I had never used a tuner before and I have to say, it's ridiculously easy to use even for absolute beginners. It works both in vibration and acoustic (microphone) tuning modes and you can choose among four settings: chromatic, violin, bass and guitar. To use vibration mode (which I prefer), you clip the Eno to the headstock of your guitar, turn it on and select “chromatic”. You then pluck each string in turn, tuning it until the LED display shows the dial in the middle and a green light (it also tells you which note you are playing!) You can tune your guitar in about two minutes – great! The minimal instructions are very clear. The battery is a bit fiddly to insert, but I've only had to change it once in four years.

I have been using this tuner for over a year now. This tuner is easy to use and very reliable. However, there is one small but significant problem.
It tunes my guitar approximately a semi tone HIGHER than it should be. I found out by accident when playing an open MIC night. I tuned up using the ENO, then I lent my guitar to a friend to use. She immediately identified that it was out of tune and re tuned the guitar correctly using a professional inline tuner. So I immediately rechecked and found the ENO tuneing a semi tone higher. I then rechecked again comparing the ENO against a KORG tuner with similar results. My advice for anyone who has bought this product to check it against another quality tuner of piano.
If you are thinking of buying this product beware and check its tuning. I recommend spending a little extra money and buy something like a KORG CA1 or better still a Pitchhawk.
