Amazon Verified Purchase
Standard Chinese product. This one copy the original Canon. I don't like it at all. Very low level plastic quality and different form and shape respect the original one. With different and worst caring of the light. Original one is better for every point of view. And last longer. If you can, just put distance between your pocket and these low level chinese products. You pay less and you get less.

Doesn't fit if you use a filter as well!
Good hood apart from the fact it screws onto the filter thread on the lens, preventing you from using a filter along with the hood. Read more

Very good replacement
I agree its cheap and a bit trashy, but does the job well and fits good too. Its a very good replacement for all these expensive Canon hood lenses. I can truly recommend it !

Very reasonable copy, but poor quality threads.
The lens hood does exactly what you expect it to, but the plastic threads just feel like theyre going to fall apart if I tighten it too much. Read more

Cheap?
This ok, does the job. A bit flimsy and will break when I sit on it. I would have expected metal for this price. I want it to bend when I sit on it.
