This one of the best books written on photography . With explicit instructions to help the novice and expert alike . Amazing photographs and very well written on all subjects .If you need a book to help ,this one will surely do it . I can't put mine down .

...make it this one.
Packed full of inspirational photography plus techniques and information. The book starts with a detailed reference guide which will help the beginner get the most out of their camera. Having covered the basics it expands in to a rich tapestry of beautiful, unusual and inspired images, these are supplied with background information plus technique panels that invite the reader to replicate the effects & scenes that are on the page. A must for all photographers whatever their experience level. P.S. I liked it ;)

Books on photography tend to fall into one of two categories: subjects or techniques. The "EPHOTOzine" Guide to Great Photography provides the reader with the best of both worlds. All photographic subjects, such as landscape, portrait, micro and wildlife, are comprehensively covered, with techniques and guidance on how to improve in these areas clearly and articulately provided. The standard of the photographs themselves - numbered in their hundreds - is exceptionally high, as indeed is the quality of their reproduction. The book is an eloquent expression of the enthusiasm that Peter Bargh and the members of his EPHOTOzine website have for the art of photography. Equally at home on the coffee table or beside the keyboard, the "EPHOTOzine" Guide to Great Photography keeps the promise of its title: it provides invaluable guidance to the reader who hopes to take photographs of the high standard which this fine book so generously celebrates and shares. If only education was always this enjoyable. Highly recommended.
