The brilliant Serafin and their two new EPs (this being EP2) see the welcome return of Ben Fox Smith, frontman of relatively unheard of, (unfairly so, I'd say) teen-grunge band, Stony Sleep, and this time it's better than ever.
Having ditched the miserable sounds of Stony Sleep, Smith and his band have created a massive melodic rock out that you would miss at your peril.
Being described by Kerrang! as being 'pitched somewhere between Placebo, Foo Fighters and Fox Smith's former band', they combine all their best qualities to create the criminally hummable songs and the memorable lyrics, not to mention the amazing instrumentals and unmissable live performance, that are Serafin. A song I like in particular is 'No Happy', it's amazingly catchy, but never poppy, and invigorating, it always makes me want to dance.
So I'm warning you, if you miss this truly unforgettable up and coming talent you'll never forgive yourself, they so deserve to make it big this time.
