I have recently purchase the Elite-Tek 9868S waterproof training collar. You have 3 options to use, the beep sound, the vibrate or the shock. I have used a training collar before with my dog, so she knew what she had around her neck. I have been having trouble getting her to come back when she has run off and to stop her eating dead animals and poo!! She is a working dog and when we are out on a shoot she has to do as shes told, so running off is a no no. I let her wear the collar for a couple of days without using the transmitter and she was very comfortable wearing it. Then the fun began. First time I had to use the beep sound she had picked up a dead rabbit. I only had to press the button once and she spat it out, hooray!! Couldnt believe it, it worked straight away. Next test was cow poo. She started eating it, I pressed the beep button and she jumped back. She went to eat it again, I pressed the beep button again, and she jumped back even higher. At this point she gave up and has not eaten cow poo since, hooray again. The next test was running off. I pressed the beep button, she didnt come back so I then pressed the vibrate button, she came back straight away. I think she knows that the next sensation she will be feeling is the shock. I havent had to use the shock yet, but at this rate I dont think I will have to, but I know its there if its needed. Even though she is now behaving herself I still have her wearing the collar every time we go out because I cant guarantee that she will be good all of the time. I strongly recommend this collar for training purposes. I have ordered another collar for my second dog as you can use upto 3 collars on 1 transmitter, which is very useful. If your having trouble with your dogs like I am, this collar is a must as a training aid.

I have just recieved this training aid, next day delievery was great, I am a bit bemused though as there are no instructions on how to use it, for example which dial controls which function, how do I know when the reciever unit is fully charged and also when do I need to recharge it??

I have lost count of the number of anti bark products I have bought for my little dog. This one works. I do not use the shock one, but gave him a shock by accident once when I first had it and I was wearing the remote and cleaning the cooker and had not turned the remote control to 0; he made no sound but scampered into his bed! My dog reacts best to the sound reminder and automatically becomes quieter and perhaps more aware, when I put the collar on him.

A miracle device
Wonderful results with this product. The dog wears the collar but I rarely have to use the control. Walking her is now a pleasure. I only use the beep function. Read more
