Set the way back machine to 1997, as ECW were still cutting their teeth in PPV. This is the first ever NTR on PPV, and, isntead of being their answer to Wrestlemania and Starrcade, this coems out as a wet fish. We start off with Chris Candido vs. Tommy Rogers, only it quickly turns into a tag match. It is a sound enough amtch, but definetly not what you want to start a major PPV with. The second match is Justin Credible vs. Mikey Whipwreck, which is a VERY bland encounter. The 3rd mathc is for the TV Title, and lasts all of 1 and a half minutes. NTR then finally kicks into gear with a great 4-way tag title match, qucikyl followed by RVD vs. Tommy Dreamer in a keeper. The next match erases the good stuff from memory -a Tables & Ladders match between Sabu & The Sandman....and god is it awful. They blow all their spots, miss all their spots and injure themselves. The next match is the title match,and it is one of the worst ECW PPV title matches ever. Bam Bam controls,with very basic stuff, very slowly. Shane gets hardly any offense in at all. Very storng recommendation to avoid on this one.

This tape is a must have for any ecw fans who want to see ecw when it had all the stars wo are now in the wwf. You will witness a title changing hands, and one of the most controversial matches in ecw history: a tables and ladders match in Sandman versus Sabu. Buy this video to see why ECW are number 1!

This ppv is pretty average to say the least, but features two really good matches. Rob Van Dam v.s Tommy Dreamer in a flag v.s flag match. This match is one of the best matches i have ever seen! The referees get involved and everything. And the Sandman v.s Sabu match is truly unbeleivable. How they pull off have this stuff, i dont know. So i recomend you but this tape if you like those wrestlers.
