The quality of this case belies its price, excellent fit and does not get in the way of the units operation.
One operational bug of the X Series Walkman is with the HOLD function, you can selection the hold function to disable all functions, volume, play, next track and Home key . Or, disable just the touch screen function. I disable just the touch screen function so I can alter the volume on the move and use the play/forward/back function. The only problem is the HOME key is also the power-off key. So, if you carry your Walkman in your trouser pocket you have every chance of your unit switching-off because the HOME key has got pressed in your pocket. This case overcomes his problem.

This is a great quality case to keep your Sony X safe but there are a couple of design shortfalls. The case does not provide access to the Hold Button and hole somewhere would have allowed a lanyard to be connected to hang it around the neck. If these were incorporated it would be just perfect. It remains a great case and it is excellent value for money.

This wallet case does a good job of protecting the Sony Walkman X Series. The fit is good and allows access to all the controls as well as the touch screen. The appearance belies the low price and does look like something at twice the price. How that lasts I will report on in due time. However, the construction quality looks robust, the clasp works reliably so far and the finish has stood up to a few weeks of being shoved into a rucksack full of cables and phone chargers on the ride into work.

Fitting
The first supplied wallet didn't fit the walkman but the replacement fitted ok. There is no access for the 'hold' button on the rear of the wallet which is a nuisance.
