Due to Sony's decision not to include a mains charger with their Walkman MP3 players, I recently found myself needing one when I let my battery run down completely. The enclosed USB charger is unable to charge the player. I therefore searched Amazon and soon discovered this, which is a lot cheaper than an branded one. It arrived within 3 days and was able to charge the player with no problem. I now feel confident that I can charge my player anywhere I want and do not need to rely on my PC. Overall an excellent product highly recommended. Cannot understand why Sony don't include one with their Walkmans

This device works well and allows the Walkman to be recharged without a PC - something Sony should supply, as the computer has to be 'on' to charge - not even on standby - so not very green. Bit slow, so be prepared to wait, but essential item for travelling users.

Charger arrived, I promptly plugged into the mains and my MP3 into the other end, and it literaly charged the battery. Great job, would buy again.
