Product Description

Product Description

Jason Frasier grew up in the East End and was always told to look out for his younger brother. He did this willingly and could never see in Vincent what others could see, that he was a thoroughly nasty piece of work. The two boys were so very different, Vincent had a jealous streak and what he wanted he usually got. Jason on the other hand was kind and loving and gave in to his brothers demands. Vincent had a knack of dragging his brother into all manner of dodgy schemes, which is how they ended up on the wrong side of Freddie Gant, the notorious local gangster and how one of the brothers would pay the ultimate price.
East End Honour takes the reader into a world that they would not normally venture and chronicles the lives of a family that are to be torn apart by a chance decision that one of the brothers would regret for the rest of his life.

About the Author

More About the Author

Hi everyone! I'd like to thank you all for reading my books and to let you know how pleased I am with your reviews and kind comments.

My new novel PHILLIMORE PLACE.

Jessica Metcalf is the only child of Bob and Annie and was born and raised on Horton Road in the East End of London. She is beautiful, happy and has all the trappings that money can buy. Known as Jess to her friends and family but Mistress to her clients, she earns her living as a high class prostitute and dominatrix. Business is going from strength to strength, she enjoys her work and it's a lucrative career that has enabled her to purchase a swanky apartment in upmarket Kensington. Everything in her life changes when by chance she replies to an advertisement in the local newspaper. Within a few weeks Jess's world seems to spiral out of control, when through no fault of her own, she gets caught up in a murder. Can Jess survive, or are outside forces just too powerful. Phillimore Place takes the reader through the trials and tribulations of peoples lives; it will cross class boundaries to show that no one, no matter how wealthy they are, can shield themselves from pain.

My books so far have all been very different story wise and I hope to continue giving readers a surprise with each one I write. My genre style won't change because that's the way I love to write and you all obviously love to read. The recent reviews I've received are excellent and as long as you all keep reading then I'll keep writing.
I try whenever possible to write conversations phonetically. It gives the reader real insight into the way local people actually speak. I feel if everything is spelt perfectly then the characters could be from any place or class in society. My intention is to give a clear understanding and differentiate between lifestyles.
Kind regards

Kim Hunter x

3.0 out of 5 stars Great story but..... 7 May 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Really good story but the transfer from book to kindle is dreadful & very amateurish. Chapters start in the middle of sentences, you get half a word on one page and the other half on another, you get two lines on a page then empty till you turn to the next.Blank pages, pages with only one word on. Plus more, it really did ruin such a good story.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too many mistakes 11 Aug 2013
By Annie
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I gave up on this a few chapters in because of spelling mistakes - which drive me mad. I know I'm being picky but I just can't read a book full of mistakes. It may have been a good story - in which case I've missed out but I'll take the risk.

First book I've read and it was brilliant, seriously don't listen to other reviews about how chapters are set out ,it means nothing once you read this gripping thrilling book.
Didn't want it to finish, just bought Kim's other two books.
I've read all ,mandasue hellers,Martina Cole,Kimberley chambers ect,and Kim is well on par with these writers.
Well done Kim,keep up the good work, here goes my second book I just purchased,WHATEVER IT TAKES.
I'M sure it will measure up to the first I read.

4.0 out of 5 stars great story - dreadful proof reading and layout 26 May 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have just finished this book and thoroughly enjoyed the story but it would have been a lot better if it had been proof read properly. i.e. defiantly instead of definitely every time, cause instead of course and so on. Also in my version I too had blank pages, half lines etc.

I did enjoy the story though and have just bought another Kim Hunter book.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good story
A little bit cliché here and there, stereotypical eastenders. That said, the story is quite good and the characters rounded. Worth reading.
