Review

NECROSCOPE: AVENGERS

"Lumley still excels at depicting heroes larger than life and horrors worse than death. The exciting pyrotechnic finale appears to bring final resolution to some long-running subplots."--"Publishers Weekly"

"A complicated but well-written story, sort of a vampire adventure for the Tom Clancy set. The plot is interesting and features plenty of political and military intrigue."--"Fangoria"

NECROSCOPE: DEFILERS

"The genuinely evil Wamphyri, Lumley's original portrayal of paranormal powers, his dry wit, and a long, thundering climax assure that the hefty book will handsomely reward readers."--"Booklist"

NECROSCOPE: INVADERS

"The amazingly prolific Lumley kicks off a new branch of his Necroscope series now that the original Necroscope (or vampire killer), Harry Keogh, is dead. The new novel stands alone. Necroscope fans will find themselves reading as fast as Lumley can type, and new readers may apply as well with this inaugural Jake Cutter entry."--"Kirkus Reviews"

Product Description

The three 'WAMPYRHI' lords are finally on the run. Malinari, Szwart and Vavara have been driven from their respective lairs by E-Branch and Jake Cutter. But this final chapter swiftly becomes the most dangerous, as the undead creatures decide to put aside their differences and join forces against their tormentors.

Worse still, the dark side of Jake's 'gift' is swiftly becoming apparent - for it seems that the same talent that allows him to beat the vampires may also be turning him into one himself!

In what could possibly be the final NECROSCOPE novel ever, the fate of humanity once again hangs in the balance...

This is supposed to be Mr Lumley's conclusion to the Necroscope Saga. 'Invaders' & 'Defilers' were awesome. This one seems to have been completed in a hurry with a lot of references to 'I, Legend'. I do hope it's not the last of the series but I also pray for a much better continuation.

It's been one hell of a journey from the original Necroscope all those years ago to this the latest and probably the last Necroscope book. Unforunately all good things must end and I think this E-branch series has been a very worthwhile ending to possibly the greatest vampire series ever.
A great read for anyone and an absolute essential for any Necroscope fan.
