Sadly this new 2013 digipak CD release is misleading.
The album itself is iconic and one of the best ever made in electronic disco.

While it may be remastered, it is from a VINYL SOURCE, NOT the original master tapes.
Just like the earlier release on the same label, and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Surely with the current buzz and renewed interest in Giorgio Moroder's career, you would think Repertoire Records would have learnt from their previous mistakes and actually bothered to source the original masters.

Shameful.

At last an affordable and great re issue on CD of this classic electronic Disco album from the late seventies. Giorgio Moroder has created a brilliant album here. This was the first ever live to digital album
There is a wealth of computers and electronics involved in this album for its time. There are 25 computerised synthesizers and four computerized keyboards. Also there are microcomputers, electric drums, percussion and vocals.
Back in the seventies this was the sort of album that did not get any real radio air play. The only way to hear this was at the Disco and then if you were lucky to get your hands on a copy you could play it at home. This wasn't easy since it wasn't the sort of thing you could get in record departments.
This album follows the same sort of quality as From here to Eternity,
The album is brilliant and sounds even better on CD than my old vinyl copy. This is a nicely presented issue with great art work. There are some good bonus tracks on this issue too and all together this is just fantastic to have on CD at last.

I like Giorgio Moroder and was led to believe that this was the best he had but it wasn't it.
