Well oganized, easy to follow and comprehensive 26 Sep 2009
By Chris O - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I have attended Diane's presentations and this book mirrors her comprehensive and succinct style of providing you with just the information you need to know about Lectora. If you are new to Lectora, you will find this book to be extremely helpful as you learn your craft, and if you are more advanced with the program, you will find it be a very useful reference. I highly recommend it! Christine O'Malley, Lectora Advanced Certified Author and sponsor of the Chicago Lectora User Group. [...]

Excellent introduction to creating eLearning with Lectora 4 Feb 2011
By Jay Lambert - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I've known Diane for a few years, mainly through the annual Lectora User Conference. Her sessions are always well attended and provide excellent information. She has a great speaking style in which she breaks down her subject matter into easily understood bites. The e-Learning Uncovered books she has co-written with her Alcorn & Ward associates follow the same approach -- well-organized and easy-to-follow steps, tips, tricks, etc. for creating eLearning. You'll also appreciate the gotchas she warns about. Overall, this book provides an excellent introduction to using Lectora.

I have copies of all the e-Learning Uncovered titles (From Concept to Execution, Articulate, and Lectora) and pass them around to newer developers on our team. If you're looking for a good book on the topic, you can't go wrong here. It's a great resource for do-it-yourself learning and reference when you're stuck; I've also seen it used as a training manual in an instructor-led class.

Also, note that while this review is for the Lectora 9 book (which is what I have), there is one available for the newer version, Lectora X.
