I bought this video some time ago and I can honestly say that it is very rarely off my VCR. Many people (not myself I must say) thought that ELO without Jeff Lynne would not survive. This superb concert is proof that this is nonsense. The vocals are lead by the truly amazing Kelly Groucutt who weilds a mean bass. Sharing these duties are New Yorker Eric Troyer who doubles up on keyboards, as well as guitarists Pete Haycock and Neil Lockwood. This is the beauty of ELO Part 2. Sharing the vocals is indicitive of just how talented every member of the band is. There is no hogging the limelight by anyone band member. They all enjoy themselves and this shows in how well they are recieved by their home town audience. The idea of bringing along the Moscow Symphony Orchestra is a master stroke. From beginning to end it is truly a concert to remember. I only have two minor criticsms of the video.Firstly, when Bev Bevan speaks to the audience he is almost inaudible. Secondly, the concert is too short at 85 minutes.
