This is the smallest proper vacuum cleaner I've ever seen. The actual body of it would definitely fit on a sheet of A4 paper - but then of course there's the hose and cleaning head to add on to that, so it's not so miniscule in terms of storage (although the hose assembly comes apart). The tools are carried on board (attached to the hose), so you can literally plug in and go.
I confess to preferring upright vacuums, but I am seriously impressed with the suction on this tiny machine and the ease of use. My bedroom carpet is a horrible carpet to clean: bits stick to it and my big upright Dyson really struggles to clean it. But this cylinder one does a really good job and got every little bit up, plus the cleaning head is flat enough to slip under the bed and remove dusty bits. There's no brush on the head: it does rely on suction alone to pick up dirt. It's obviously harder work than pushing an upright around.
It's quite quiet, and light enough to carry as you vacuum from room to room. But it does blow out a lot of air, so it's not very comfortable to carry as your hair flies all over the place! The cord is reasonably long and coils inside the machine, but is not self retracting which would have been more useful: for this kind of vacuum cleaner the cord can get in the way.
Overall a good, efficient, tiny machine which would be perfect for a small house or flat. As the name implies, it copes fantastically well with wooden floors too.
