Got this just before Christmas and after a month of using it I'm delighted to say its the first time I've enjoyed vacuuming. Its been a revelation! This machine does it all. I have carpets and tiled floors. It cleans both without any need to adjust the cleaning head. Pet hairs just disappear with one sweep over. It goes round corners, the lead length, if I plug into a central point, is long enough to do the entire property without changing the power point. It's brilliant for cleaning right up to the edges as well.
It was fairly easy to put together; the parts click into place so no fiddly screws or clips to manage. Any problems and there are some excellent YouTube clips which help. I wasn't sure how the attachments for the extension hose fitted, but a quick look at a video and it was sorted. The waste canister has loads of room and is really easy to empty. One click and the dust etc just drops out.
My carpets, which looked quite clean have really perked up. They're springy and the suction power has obviously lifted deep seated dust. The extension and tools are easy to use; there with one click. I also got a free home cleaning kit in a case with three further cleaning heads for any job you can imagine. The most amazing task is removing cat hair from curtains. The cat brushes past the curtain, hairs gather. Before, I would laboriously remove by hand or with a lint remover. Soft brush on the extension, one sweep and, magic, they're gone. I don't know how it manages to remove the hair without sucking the fabric into the tube...but it works.
I've always thought that Dysons were good, but a bit of a gimmick and expensive. No more. I've put the two other vacuums, a Hetty and an upright, out in the garage. They won't be used again. I'm converted, this machine is just the best ever. And with 5 years parts and labour guarantee plus a really helpful UK based customer service line, I. Now think its really good value. Love it.
