The new Dyson Contact head" articulates responsively at the neck to maintain closest contact with all floor surfaces even as you pull backwards. This means it picks up more dirt from your home than conventional floor tools. The additional front channel on the Contact head" means that larger dirt and debris are not snowploughed across a smooth floor, so you can pick up larger pieces such as rice and nuts first time.
The intake nozzles of the DCO7 tools direct high velocity airflow down into the carpet pile to agitate and dislodge the dust. The suction release trigger reduces suction by 35%, so that you can clean curtains, upholstery or delicate rugs without them sticking to the cleaner. No need to bend down to adjust any dials or switches.
The Mini turbobrush has been engineered by Dyson for improved performance and ease of use. The air-powered brushbar effectively removes pet hair by brushing hair and fibres out of carpet pile and upholstery and into the constant Dyson suction. The turbobrush uses a brushbar driven by powerful Root12Cyclone" suction to pick up more hair and fibres from carpets. All Dyson cleaners have lifetime filters. This means constant suction and high filtration of particles as small as cigarette smoke (0.1 micron), and no running costs.
Dyson Root12Cyclone" technology maintains powerful constant suction and removes more fine dust from the airflow than any other bag or "bagless" system, so the filters don't clog. DCO7 HEPA models are also equipped with a lifetime HEPA post-motor filter specially designed to retain the highest level of microscopic particles. The 310,000mm2 HEPA filter includes a bacteria-killing screen. This combination not only captures harmful particles such as cigarette smoke, but it also kills bacteria on contact.
The British Allergy Foundation aims to improve awareness of and treatment of allergies and advises people of allergy-friendly products to buy. DCO7 uses Root12Cyclone" technology to maintain constant suction and to remove even the smallest particles of dust, which is why it has been endorsed by BAF.

After the old DC03 model Dyson of mine decided to stop working, a suitable replacement had to be quickly found. Another Dyson it had to be as I'd been pleased with the last one.
Being pet owners, the Animal model was deemed a suitable model -the Dyson Website will run by some questionnaire with you if you are not sure what suits best. I will admit the model has not failed to disappoint and the kids approve of the trendy colour! You almost feel the vacuum is trying to suck the carpet off the floor and it's amazingly satisfying to see how much dirt it sucks up!
The stair hose is very versatile and so too is the motorised head attachment - ideal for the car and smaller areas that need to be done. I've rated the machine as 5 stars but will comment that a longer electrical flex would be and advantage and will also warn that machine is certainly no lightweight affair.

I bought the DC07 animal because my old cylinder vac (not a Dyson!) just couldn't cope with cat hairs. I got sick of being ankle deep in the stuff, and decided to buy the Dyson even though it is pretty expensive. The first time I used it was after I had already vacuumed with my old cleaner - and I couldn't believe the amount of extra hair and dirt the Dyson picked up! It was almost like having a new carpet.
In short, if you have a cat or dog then you need to have a DC07 animal.

Since receiving the DC07 cleaner we have virtually eradicated all cat hairs from every area off the house. Our cat casts a lot! and I mean a lot, we thought our old vacuum cleaned quite well till we tried this dyson, it virtually pulls out all grit dust and hairs at a couple of sweeps, we find the attachments very easy to use and the animal turbo tool is superb. We would highly recommend this model to all.

I bought the dyson DC07 animal due to my old hoover just could not cope with the cat and dog hairs and was always bloking up and the DC07 just amazing there gone ! ! ! Read more

New carpet?
After one trip round the house the DC07 Allergy had to be emptied twice it picked up so much dust that my old bagged vacuum cleaner had consistently failed to pick. Read more
