Feel mislead in the advertising of this product, says by Dyson and the description is Dyson DC07 Lifetime filter. The picture is of a genuine Dyson filter and the RRP is the cost of a genuine product. What arrived was not a dyson product, perhaps a little naive but do not like being conned and feel like I have. Just be aware this is not a genuine part but a cheap copy.

This filter transformed by Dyson DC07 - all loss of suction and motor cut-out problems are now gone and performance has been restored to as new condition.

Despite its name, the lifetime filter does not last a lifetime and *does* eventually need replacing. If your Dyson is suffering loss of suction and motor overheat / cut-out, you probably need to replace this lifetime filter unit as washing it becomes ineffective.

Well worth buying.

This is every bit as good as the genuine Dyson part. I had read reviews before I purchased this item and saw that people were disappointed when a non Dyson part arrived. Although it states 'Dyson DC07 Lifetime Filter' what you get indeed isnt a Dyson part, but a filter that will fit the stated model...there lies the confusion I feel. It doesn't say its a genuine part, it just says what it is and what it fits...simples. Highly recommend. May buy another for a spare...
So dont be disappointed by the non Dyson part, enjoy the high quality bargain that you have bought!
