Review

"This book will benefit a multitude of people who are capable of assisting the young, and the mature, to overcome the hurdle that dyslexia provides. Few people can communicate as successfully as Gavin Reid on this subject."

Handbook still essential 24 April 2010
Format:Paperback
The Practitioners Handbook, now in its fourth edition, remains an essential book for anybody working with dyslexics. If you are only able to buy one book on dyslexia make it this one.

If you are looking for a general graps of dyslexia then this book is probably not for you. If you are studying dyslexia academically, then this book is for you. It is packed with a great deal of useful information on different aspects of dyslexia and how to intervene constructively to support students who are struggling with literacy problems.

It is not, however, the most exciting of reads.
