If ,like me,you have been following Dynasty by the box set, your going to buy this regardless of any reviews. Its true, the picture transfer is awful and the sound has a constant rumbling sound running all the way throughout the set.

Boring old Jeanette finally gets a scene of her own but with the poor flickering picture quality her purple blouse is like a psychedelic trip which really livens it up. The Alexis and her new lover storyline is crap. The new Fallon isnt just a new actress but the whole character is so different that I cant understand why they botherd.

The Season itself is a bit of a trudge, its definitely not the finest. Its lost its sparkle and glitz and its full of useless characters. But really, theres still some fun to be had.

But buy it and carry on, not much longer to go now:-(

Impossible to watch it!
I NEVER thought Paramount could release something like that. The only explanation is that the masters are completely destroyed!

Now I'm SO AFRAID about the next season (that I already pre-ordered).

Just have to agree with the other reviewers. Picture and sound quality is disgusting. The print is filthy (the tracking shot across the Denver skyline during the opening credits looks as if it's been dragged through a mud pit) and on episode 5 it sounds like there's a roaring log fire burning away in the background throughout.
In today's digital age this is just totally unacceptable. The overall quality is worse than any VHS tape. Avoid this travesty at all costs.
